At 12 noon we leave by private transport Cusco - Paucartambo (folkloric capital of Cusco) visiting the areas of Urcos, Urcos lagoon and Ch'ullpas of Ninanmarka. Arrival to Paucartambo (2830). This day begins with the ringing of bells and the explosion of rockets, followed by the interpretation of reveille in charge of the musical bands and then the "cera apakuy" or transfer of candles and candles to the temple.
We attend the central mass following the great procession of "La Mamacha" to bless those present and chase away the demons. We will see the different comparsas and especially the "Saqras" that occupy the roofs and balconies of the city. These are Euro-Andean devils, dressed in vivid rainbow-colored costumes and elaborate animal masks topped with extravagant wigs. Then we have lunch. The afternoon is free to enjoy and explore the site.
In the evening the "bonfire" is staged, a representation of purgatory and we continue with the great feast and serenade to the virgin of Carmรฉn.
